Kata Vase - Character Edition
Crafted from the same rare Kütahya Viola marble as our original Kata Vase, this edition offers the same sculptural form, pedestal base, and smooth finish, with slight deviations in material quality that make each piece unique.
These imperfections may include muted or irregular veining, subtle inconsistencies in stone colour or texture, minor shape or surface irregularities, or small visible cracks. Each vase remains fully usable, waterproof, and structurally sound despite these variations.
Each Character Edition piece is crafted from the same stone and with the same techniques as our main collection but shows natural variations that emerge during selection and finishing. These do not affect function or durability.
These imperfections may include:
- Muted or irregular veining
- Subtle variations in stone color or texture
- Minor shape or surface irregularities
- Small visible cracks or scratches
Kütahya Viola marble is distinguished by its bright ivory off-white base and striking veins that can range in color from gray, violet, and burgundy to occasional green. Highly solid and rare, this marble is sourced from only a few quarries, making it exceptionally exclusive.
Each piece may showcase unique variations in color, pattern, and texture - making it truly one of a kind. The significant amount of handcrafted work may also result in subtle differences in size and detail. Natural imperfections, such as tiny marks or cracks, are expected and contribute to the authenticity of our items. We value these unique qualities and hope you do too.
Gently wipe with a soft, damp cloth and a mild, pH-neutral cleanser to maintain the stone’s natural beauty. Avoid harsh or abrasive products, and do not let citrus or other acidic substances sit on the surface to prevent etching or discoloration. Promptly clean any spills to protect the finish.

This viola marble vase is praised as beautiful with lots of character. Customers appreciate its aesthetic appeal, though some noted the Character Edition includes visible imperfections as described. Deep cracks and discoloration vary by piece, but can be positioned strategically. Overall, shoppers find it magnificent.
It’s a beautiful viola marble vase with a lot of character by itself. And this character edition is indeed as described with imperfections. Found that out after I purchased the vase but was still curious to know how it looked like. There are visible cracks. The cracks on my vase are deep, long and somewhat discolored. Luckily for me, depending on how I position the vase you won’t see the cracks immediately, some may even think it’s part of the vase.
Very beautiful vase and workmanship. Embellishes any room.
Beautiful, sobre and perfectly balanced.
