How our marble and travertine tables are delivered

E MINA OBJECTS tables are made to order in Italy and delivered directly to your address. Because each table is produced from natural stone, delivery is planned carefully and depends on the size, weight, destination and access conditions of the project.

Every table is delivered by freight carrier in a protective wooden crate on a pallet. Depending on the table and the project, delivery is arranged either as curbside delivery or as white-glove delivery on request.

This page explains what each delivery option means, how your table is packed, what to prepare before delivery and how assembly is handled.

Curbside delivery

Curbside delivery means that the freight carrier delivers the crated table to the accessible entrance of the delivery address.

In most cases, the crate is unloaded from the truck and placed at street level, driveway level or the nearest accessible curbside point. The carrier does not carry the table inside, unpack it, move it upstairs, assemble it or remove packaging.

Most E MINA OBJECTS tables are delivered via curbside delivery. This is the standard freight method for heavy stone furniture and works well if the final handling is planned in advance.

After curbside delivery, you need at least two people to move and handle the table safely. For larger dining tables, we recommend arranging professional movers, a contractor or an installer before the delivery date.

What curbside delivery includes

Freight transport to the delivery address, carrier notification or appointment before arrival, unloading of the pallet or crate from the truck and placement at the nearest accessible curbside or entrance point.

What curbside delivery does not include

Curbside delivery does not include carrying the table indoors, carrying it upstairs, unpacking, assembly, packaging removal or disposal of the wooden crate and pallet.

For this reason, the final movement and assembly should be planned before the table arrives.

White-glove delivery

White-glove delivery is a more complete delivery service for customers who want the table brought inside and placed in the room.

White-glove delivery includes indoor delivery, unpacking, placement in the room, assembly and removal of packaging. The exact scope is confirmed before the order is finalized.

We recommend this service for larger dining tables, heavier stone pieces, apartments with stairs, narrow access, or customers who do not want to organize the final handling themselves.

How it is arranged

White-glove delivery is quoted separately and arranged through specialized delivery or installation partners. Availability depends on the destination, table size, building access and timing.

If you would like white-glove delivery, tell us early in the process so we can check availability and include it in the quote.

How the table is packed

Each table is packed for freight transport in a protective wooden crate and secured on a pallet.

We have extensive experience packing and shipping large, heavy pieces made from marble, travertine and other natural stones, including dining tables, coffee tables and sculptural stone objects.

The crate is built around the individual table components and prepared to protect the stone parts during loading, transport and freight handling.

Preparing for delivery

Before delivery, please check the practical access conditions at the address.

Consider whether there is enough space for a freight truck to stop, whether a pallet or crate can be placed safely at the entrance, whether there are stairs, narrow doors or tight corridors, whether a lift is available, who will move the table from curbside to the final room, who will unpack and assemble it, and whether there is enough space to open the wooden crate safely.

Natural stone tables are heavy. For curbside delivery, at least two people are needed after delivery. For larger tables, professional handling is strongly recommended.

Assembly

Most E MINA OBJECTS tables are designed to be very straightforward to assemble.

Depending on the model, the table may consist of a tabletop and one or more base elements. In most cases, assembly is just a matter of placing the base or bases in position and carefully setting the tabletop on top.

Before the order is finalized, we explain how the specific table is assembled, so you know what to expect before production begins. If the table requires any special handling or support, we will tell you in advance.

For larger dining tables, we recommend white-glove delivery or professional installation support. Stone is strong in use, but it needs to be handled correctly during movement and placement.

Delivery damage & insurance

Every E MINA OBJECTS table shipment is insured.

We have extensive experience packing and shipping heavy natural stone pieces, including large marble and travertine tables. Transport damage is very rare, but stone furniture is heavy and freight handling involves several steps, so careful packing and insured shipping are essential.

When the table arrives, please check the crate before signing for the delivery. If there is visible damage to the crate, take photos before opening it and ask the carrier to note the damage in the delivery record.

If something happens during delivery, we deal directly with the freight company and the insurance provider. All you need to do is send us clear photos of the crate, packaging and damaged part. If a replacement part is needed, we produce it and ship it to you at no cost.
